this is a simple isometric ruler aseprite template to help you create isometric art. it comes with:
- isometric interior sample;
- isometric primitives samples;
- 3 different grid for different axis (xy, zx & zy);
- 5 different grid sizes (16x8, 24x12, 32x16, 40x20 & 48x24).
cool tip: if you set your aseprite hotkeys to move up and down (layers) and left and right (frames) to wasd you can work a lot smoother on this file.
⚠ this version doesn't work outside the v1.3 beta branch of aseprite. requires aseprite v1.3-beta21 or higher. more info here.
you can use, tweak and share this in the same licensing terms for both commercial and non-commercial projects as long as credited

Surprised. I thought this is an extension for Aseprite with an isometric grid, but in fact this is a pre-drawn grid, on different layers.
I'm sorry if this is incredibly noob of me - but how can I get this to work in Aseprite? This tool looks amazing!
no worries, dani! have you checked if your aseprite version is in the beta v1.3 branch? this file requires aseprite v1.3-beta21 or higher to work. for more info check out aseprite beta page
