template - tile47 autotiling
A downloadable asset pack
a simple aseprite template file that utilizes its native tilemap feature to generate the standard 47 tile combinations usually necessary for autotiling. it utilizes 8x8 source tiles to generate 16x16 tiles in two formats:

- game maker studio 2 standard format;
a preview is alo generated on the go so you can see in real time how the final look is gonna be and how the tiles fit together.
⚠ this version doesn't work outside the v1.3 beta branch of aseprite. requires aseprite v1.3-beta21 or higher. more info here.
you can use, tweak and share this in the same licensing terms for both commercial and non-commercial projects as long as credited

Once I generate the tileset, what's the best way to export it?
Figured it out! When you export, go the "Area" setting and it's preset with a few areas! Thanks for this template
This is 12x12/24x24 not 8x8/16x16
Hola! No comprendo como funciona esto o en que carpeta ponerla, alguien me podria explicar por favor? :(
hola, melannita! desculpa, pero no hablo español. you can press space+tab to switch modes when in a tilemap layer or click on the mode icon on the top left of the screen. for more info check aseprite's docs: https://aseprite.com/docs/tilemap/
I see, an apology and thank you very much.
One last thing, the file where should it be placed? in which folder?
it doesn't need to be placed anywhere specifically! you can just double click to open it and start working. :)
Very useful, thank you!
